Dodital one of the most beautiful treks in Northern India up in the Himalayan mountains at an altitude of 3310 Mts above sea level. The rare Himalayan trout which is found here called Dodi in the local language and thus the name followed Dodital. The famous Ganesha temple which is located at the edge of this serene lake is believed to as the birthplace of Lord Ganesha and also is one of the prime attractions for spiritual traveler along with regular hiker.
One fine morning in Dodital when Goddess Parvati was going to take a bath, she instructed the loyal bull of Lord Shiva to stay at the outside of the door of the goddess chamber to ensure no one enters until Goddess Parvati is done taking a bath. Nandi took the instructions faithfully. In some time, Lord Shiva came to the chamber when Nandi blocked his way upon the instructions of the mother Goddess and stated no one is permitted to go inside the chamber until the Goddess instructs. Lord Shiva befitted anger and vowed to be the husband of Goddess Parvati thus has the right to go.

Day 1: Dehradun / Haridwar to Uttarkashi (164 KM /205 KM Drive)
You will be met at a pick-up point and drive to Uttarkashi Upon arrival check-in into the hotel, the rest of the day is at leisure.No activities: Acclimatize your mind and body to start a trek next day to Dodital from Sangamchatti. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2: Uttarkashi To Bevra (25 Km drive + 6 km Trek)
Early morning collect your pack breakfast and drive to Sangam Chatti. Start trek to Bevra Village On arrival check in at the homestay/ and camp followed by Lunch Evening free to relax and explore Bevra Village- acclimatizing for the altitude and trek for the next day. Enjoy the evening with Bonfire followed by dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Bevra to Manjhi Village (10 Km Trek)
Start early morning after Tea/ Coffee to trek for Manjhi village, we will stop by for breakfast at Dharkot. Proceed the trek to Manjhi and check-in to your campsEvening free to explore scenic Manjhi village
Dinner – Overnight at the Camps.
Day 4: Manjhi Village to Dodital (5 Km trek)
After breakfast starts your trek to Dodital, en route visit Bhairav Nath temple.on arrival in Dodital take a rest at camp/forest guest house followed by lunch. After Lunch join the celebration of Ganesh Ceremony“ - Ganesh Murthy(Deiti) creation by the local mud* of Dodital. Evening aarti at Annapurna temple followed by dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5: Dodital To Bevra (15 Km Trek)
Early morning, take a holy bath in the Dodital lake, attend morning Aarti have the darshan of Ganesha at the ancient Ganesha Temple located at the Dodital Lake and will celebrate the Ganesha Mahotsav The Ganesha temple is an ancient temple where he was beheaded by his father Lord Shiva and hence known as the birthplace of Ganesha.After ceremony trek down to Agoda village. on route lunch at Manjhi Village. Night stay at home stay at Agoda / Bevra village followed by dinner.
Day 6: Bevra to Sangamchatti - Uttarkashi (6 Km + 25 Km Drive)
After breakfast starts trekking down to Sangamchatti. Upon arrival at Sangamchatti drive back to Uttarkashi. Rest at Hotel.
Day 7: Uttarkashi to Haridwar / Dehradun (205Km/164 Km)
After breakfast at Uttarkashi hotel drive to Haridwar / Dehradun airport.
